Have a claim or a question? Call me first.

I know your policy and I'll make sure it's handled right. Even after hours, you've got a real person in your corner — not a phone tree.

Claims & payments

Your carrier's claims & account links.

For urgent, 24/7 needs you can go straight to your carrier below. Please loop me in too, so I can advocate for you through the process.

Set-up note: the claims numbers and links below are placeholders. Replace each with the carrier's real 24/7 claims line and the correct claims / login URLs (see the HTML comments).
If something happens

After an accident or loss.

A calm, simple order of operations for the moments that count.

  1. Get safe first

Move out of traffic if you can, check on anyone hurt, and call 911 for injuries or hazards. Your safety comes before any paperwork.

  2. Document everything

Photos of the damage, the scene, all vehicles involved, and license plates. More is better — you can't go back later.

  3. Exchange information

Names, phone numbers, insurance details, and plate numbers. Stick to the facts and avoid admitting fault at the scene.

  4. Open the claim promptly

Call your carrier's 24/7 claims line (listed above) to get the claim started while details are fresh.

  5. Loop me in

Let me know what happened. I'll help you understand the process, push things along, and stay with it until it's resolved.

Plain-English glossary

Insurance terms, decoded.

The words that show up on your policy, without the jargon.

PremiumWhat you pay for your policy — monthly, every six months, or yearly.
DeductibleThe amount you pay out of pocket on a claim before your coverage kicks in. Higher deductible, lower premium — and vice versa.
Liability limitsThe most your policy will pay for injuries or damage you're responsible for. Too low is the most common (and riskiest) way people are underinsured.
Comprehensive vs. collisionCollision covers crashes; comprehensive covers the other stuff — theft, storms, fire, a deer in the road.
Replacement cost vs. ACVReplacement cost pays to replace an item new; actual cash value (ACV) subtracts depreciation, so it pays less.
Umbrella policyExtra liability coverage that sits on top of your auto and home limits for the day a big claim blows past them.
Endorsement / riderAn add-on that changes your policy — for example, scheduling a ring or adding a watercraft.
Bodily injury vs. property damageTwo parts of liability: one covers people you injure, the other covers things you damage.
FAQ

Questions clients ask most.

Do I call you or the carrier for a claim?
For urgent or after-hours claims, call the carrier's 24/7 line so it's logged right away. Then loop me in — I'll help you through it and advocate on your behalf until it's resolved.
How do I add or remove a vehicle or driver?
Just call or email me — it's usually quick. Keep in mind a change like this can affect your rate, and I'll tell you how before anything is finalized.
When should I shop my rate?
Around renewal, after a noticeable rate increase, or when life changes (new home, marriage, teen driver). As an independent agent I can re-shop across carriers without you starting over.
Do you charge a fee to shop or switch carriers?
No. (Replace with the agent's actual policy.) Independent agents are typically compensated by the carrier, so shopping your options generally costs you nothing.
What's the difference between an independent and a captive agent?
A captive agent sells one company's policies. An independent agent represents many carriers and shops them on your behalf — so your options aren't limited to a single brand.
